nCino was founded in 2011 by a team of bankers and entrepreneurs who recognized the need for a single end-to-end cloud-based solution that would improve transparency, efficiency, and profitability.
nCino was initially developed in-house by one of the country’s top originators of small business loans with the goal of enhancing the traditional commercial lending process. As the demand for our advanced technology grew among financial institutions, we emerged as an independent company in late 2011. Today, more than 1,850 financial institutions worldwide are using the nCino Cloud Banking Platform to solve business challenges, digitize processes, and enhance the customer experience through speed and convenience. Designed with bankers in mind, our digital banking platform is flexible, scalable, and designed to improve employee efficiency and productivity while reducing costs.
Our success has been recognized by numerous accolades, including being named the No. 1 “Best Place to Work in Financial Technology” by American Banker and earning a spot on Forbes Cloud 100 for two years running. In 2020, we began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol NCNO.
